Card Condition Grader Beta
Classical computer vision, no AI models. Upload a photo of the front (and optionally the back) and get a measurement of centering, corners, edges, and surface.
Read this before you use the numbers
This tool is in early beta and is not yet accurate. We are calibrating it against a library of professionally graded cards, and right now its overall grade can be off by several points in either direction. It is currently too harsh on surface condition.
Treat the output as a rough second opinion on a photo, not as a prediction of what CGC, PSA, or BGS will return. Do not use it to price, buy, or sell a card. For a real grade, submit your cards through our CGC service.
Found a card where it is badly wrong? Tell us. Real examples are exactly what we need to improve it.
How to get the best result
- Shoot the card flat, on a black surface, filling most of the frame.
- Use even, indirect light. Glare is the biggest source of false surface flaws.
- Photograph raw cards outside the sleeve where possible.
- Include the back for a more accurate centering read.
Better photos genuinely change the result. Most of the errors we see come from glare on a slab or a card shot at an angle. "Photo quality" above scores your image, not your card.
