Can I buy any of your products directly?

Is the Card Grader accurate?
Not yet, and we would rather say so plainly. It is in early beta. It measures real things
(border margins, corner whitening, edge chipping, surface scratches) with classical computer
vision, and centering is anchored to published breakpoints. But the overall
grade it produces can currently be off by several points, and it is much too harsh on surface
condition. We are calibrating it against a library of professionally graded cards. Until that
work is done, do not use it to price, buy, or sell a card. For a real grade, use our
CGC grading service.
Do you keep the photos I upload to the Card Grader?
No. Images are analyzed in memory to produce your score and are not stored or sent to any
third-party service. All the analysis runs on our own server with OpenCV and scikit-image.
Why should I grade my cards with Sui Generis Games?
We are an official dealer with CGC
and grade thousands of cards per year on behalf of our customers. We aim to simplify the process
for you with great results.
Do you grade with other companies like PSA or Beckett?
The biggest three card graders by volume are PSA, CGC and BGS (in that order), with TAG building a solid reputation.
We have graded we all of the above listed providers and find different strengths and weaknesses with each. We have chosen to
work with CGC because of their excellent customer service, fast turnaround times, and fair grading standards. We are happy to discuss other providers if you have a specific need.
How do I grade my cards with Sui Generis Games?
Head to the Grading page and submit the order form. You will instantly
receive shipping instructions and a printable packing slip, on screen and by email. Send your
cards in penny sleeves, no hard top-loaders needed, bookended and sealed in a team bag, with
extra padding at your discretion. We will let you know when your cards are graded and safely
send them back to you.
How will I know my cards arrived safely?
We email you when your package arrives and keep you updated at each step: received, submitted
to CGC, graded, and shipped back.
Do you buy or consign cards?
Yes. We accept graded cards on consignment with up to 93% of the sale price going back to you,
